"A Family rooted in tradition, Living an adventure"

For our wedding, which we held in Hawaii (wedding video), we decided to create our own family crest that represents key elements about us and would be used on our wedding invitations, program and wedding swag!  Taking elements from the nationals crests found on four different passports, we combined them into our own unique family crest.  The union represents our own fusion of different nationalities, cultures and race as a couple and family.

• The eagle is from the American national crest.  
• The Lion of St. George & unicorn are from the British national crest (the lion representing England and the unicorn representing Scotland).  
• The red cross represents the flag of patron saint of England, St. George.  
• The stipes and stars represents the flag of the US along with the 13 arrows which represents the original 13 colonies of the U.S.  
• The olive branch represents peace (and why the eagles head is turned left, with a preference for peace).  
• The three lions dates back to the 12th Century when a red crest with three gold lions would be carried into battle to inspire English troops and more recently is the badge of the England national football team. 
• The English rose is a description, associated with English culture and also the current badge of the England national rugby team. 
• Palm leaves from the Singapore & Malaysia national crest (and a nod to also being married on a palm tree plantation).
