nextstopFam family VLOG Season 04: 2under2.
Getting to grip with life and our two little boys, officially part of the #2under2 club!
This is our story of surviving 2under2 the first month. Will it be the same as last time? Will it be easier? Are we prepared? Never Look Back... this is how we cope with 2 under 2 and our honest truths about life as a new family of four with a newborn and toddler.
Join us in our One Month Baby Celebration of Joey; typically a celebratory occasion shared with friends and family but as is the strange times we are living in, we weren't able to meet with anyone during the one month celebration.
Baby Massage with Hui Tze. It's been pretty much a year since we had our first baby massage sessions with Hui Tze and Michael, so for this time with Joey, it was a good refresher for us to have crash course in all the different massage strokes for baby.
Back to Sentosa and Tanjong Beach Club this time with 2under2! One to remember as this was Joey's first time in a pool! One of the hip and happening beach spots on Sentosa, Tanjong Beach Club is also great for families with young kids and babies and dog friendly too. Thanks to Godfather JJ and Karyn for a fun afternoon with the boys.
After nearly 3 months in lockdown, the end of circuit breaker is finally upon us and Singapore enters phase 2 of 3. With 2under2 ready to get out and explore, it was a big weekend for Joey as he'd spent his entire life in lockdown and so this was a weekend of firsts for him, first time in a pub, first time at the beach, first time in the ocean, first fathers day... and as for Michael, see how much lockdown had affected him.
What a momentous landmark! Michael Starts School! Where does the time go and has anyone seen our baby boy? So proud of the little ruddiger for taking his first day of school all in his stride. Tune in to see how he gets on.
Singapore 4th July! Yet again another ID4 spent in the Lion City, this time it's Joey's first 4th and we hit Gardens by the Bay water play! One day, maybe, hopefully, we will get to actually celebrate in the United States of America, what do you think, will we make it?
On a very early Saturday morning we make a last minute decision to go to Jurong Bird Park with our boys. On all fronts this was a first for all of us as neither Lauren or Simon had ever been before. Is it suitable, Jurong Bird Park with Babies?
A somewhat hidden gem of Singapore - The Green Corridor! Having wanted to do this for quite a while, it wasn't all that I hope it would be, sadly it was one epic fail, most likely on our own part. Hard to find anything online for this, anyone know of a better section?
Our first luxury hotel with 2under2! Our first staycation since lockdown! Joey's first hotel stay! It wasn't as easy going as we expected, but what were we expecting... but the boys did have fun!
Our $6000 Mistake! This was a lesson to learn! Our 2nd staycation with #2under2 and booking hotel stays at 1am is not advisable! A big thank you to Rozal DOR at The Fullerton Hotel for saving our bacon!
Halloween Singapore with 2under2. Michael's 2nd and Joey's First! As is typical we spread out our celebrations over the weekend, but also thanks to the sneaky CoRony, we could only have 5 people round... may be next year we'll celebrate by making it a funeral as fun and freedom died in 2020, think we can have up to 50 people then.
Baby's First Diwali, actually a first time celebrating Diwali for all of us. Enjoying a little difference in culture on this tiny but very multi-cultrual country Singapore that we call home. A big thank you to TrAmod for hosting and putting on a lovely spread of amazing food. Happy Diwali!
Baking with the Boys: Thanksgiving Special 2020. Thanksgiving 2020 and this year Lauren cooked up a storm in the kitchen with our 2under2 baby boys. Thank you for watching; please hit that Like button and subscribe for weekly content.
On a rainy birthday weekend we took our 2under2 rascals out for the Big Bus Singapore Tour. A particular treat of Michael who is obsessed with Big Buses.
The Pinnacle@Duxton is an iconic HDB in Singapore City Centre and we moved in as a young couple before we were married. We stayed for close to 4 years and built a family home here, experiencing some momentous life occasions in this cosy little apartment, and now it's time to say goodbye.
For the first time in a long time we have the 3M's reunited plus this time with little Joey Baby. A fun morning of Christmas PJ's and Homemade buttermilk Pancakes, gifts and arts & crafts. Wherever you are in the world, we hope you have a very Merry Christmas and you are able to see family and friends in spite of the sneaky RoNy. Enjoy this festive episode of Christmas Pancakes and PJ's.
The last video of the year from us; and what a year it's been for us as a family. A big thank you to all our beloved family for the many many parcels full of presents for the boys and friends too, who have sent presents from around the world. We feel the love and the boys have truly enjoyed opening all their gifts and making the biggest mess ever.
Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year 2under2 style. A life changing update from Michael and an 8 course new years eve lucky tradition from around the world.
Singapore River Safari is the newest addition to Singapore’s portfolio of award-winning parks and is Asia’s first and only river-themed wildlife park!
Moving apartment is a ballache at the best of times but moving with 2under2 is a whole different level. As much as it is challenging, the rewarding moments are worth it! Such is the expat life in Singapore, we have to undertake this painful process every few years and this time, for the first time, we did it as a family.
Now this came as quite a shock, what we discovered at Singapore Zoo. This was Joey's first trip to the zoo and the truth was really unexpected but also provided us with a little chuckle. Remember that TV show, Kids say the funniest thing’s. We are now entering that stage and it's very cute.
A trip to Singapore Cloud Forest for this quick #2under2 episode. If you're looking for things to do in Singapore, check out the domes at Gardens by the Bay. Watch how the boys take to this mysterious world veiled in mist surrounded by hidden floral gems and diverse vegetation, all while playing beneath the breath-taking mountain waterfall..... all within a dome!
Join us in this 2under2 episode as Joey goes for his first cycle in Singapore. Simon has been taking Michael for bike rides in Singapore for the past year and now Joey is big enough we wanted to go as a family for a cycle along the Singapore river and other cycling routes in Singapore. .
With our #2under2 baby boys we are constantly looking for things to do that will entertain them and let them burn off some energy and so over the weekend we headed up to Yishun to Diggersite Singapore, and in this video you will see whey we loved it there.
OK, so we probably…definitely already knew that babies at Universal Studios Singapore was probably not a good idea but we decided to go anyway. It’s pretty obvious; they are too young and too small to get on any of the rides. Was our visit a complete disaster? We’ll give you a run-down of our experience in this video.
Yes, we finally did it, we’re leaving… leaving the main island of Singapore and heading over to St Johns Island Singapore.
Michael turns two and with the celebration of his second birthday, it means this chapter, officially, it's over: the end of 2 under 2. It's been one amazing year but we'll save that for another episode; for this one, we enjoy Michael's birthday celebrations!
After a crazy intense year of surviving two under two: two babies under the age of two years old, we find the time to sit down and give our top tips for surviving two under two.
