Singapore

We live in Singapore and met in Singapore, so we thought we'd tie the knot in Singapore too as it's all part of our experience and the start of our adventure.  Certainly not a huge event, it was a small and  proficient ceremony and the Singapore Registry of Marriage (ROM), where we invited a couple of friends and went for lunch thereafter at the Fort Canning Hotel.   Watch our ROM Wedding video that we filmed ourselves on our iPhone.

Hawaii

The main event. Our wedding in Hawaii is what we see as our actual wedding day.  Being a destination wedding with friends and family flying in from all over the world, we held a number of pre-wedding events in the week leading up to the wedding including a welcome "I Do Booze Cruise", a  traditional Hawaiian Luau dinner with hula dancers, Chinese tea ceremony and a bridal shower.  Watch our Hawaii Wedding Video. 

Yap

We got married on our honeymoon! As the newly wed Mr and Mrs Yap, on Yap Island for our honeymoon, we thought it would be fun to continue the celebrations and have a traditional Yapese wedding,  officiated  by the village Chief and with some of the local villagers as our guests.  This was a unique and memorable experience.  Video coming soon. 

Kuala Lumpur

With the trip to Hawaii being too far a journey from Malaysia, many of Simon's relatives couldn't make it.  We therefore had the opportunity to hold a traditional Bai Zhu tea ceremony and wedding dinner celebration for friends and family in Malaysia. 

New York

During what was a difficult time for Lauren's dad and family in the month before our Hawaii wedding, suffering a major heart attack, resulting in a life saving heart transplant, it unfortunately meant that he, along with Lauren's brother and sister in-law, could not make the wedding.  This was his opportunity to walk Lauren down the aisle and give her away.   A heart touching and intimate event and the family garden in New York.   Watch our New York Wedding video.
